I am grateful for the Starbucks employee who couldn’t have known (but somehow did) that I was having one of the worst days imaginable as a healthcare worker. They gave me a wink as they “accidentally” made my drink a venti instead of a grande, lined the cup in caramel, and added an extra shot of espresso. Your small kindness was like a big warm hug. Thank you.

🥲. I used to sing “You Are My Sunshine” to my dear cat, Sandy who has come back to me twice more in this life. (Thank you) I’m so grateful for her and for being open to those possibilities – kindred souls never leave us. Today, I became acutely grateful for all those who have seen the sacred and pointed it out for us – such as a lotus for enlightenment, the Hamsa for protection/prosperity, or who cut a trail that leads to awe, while in truth, we can find our own symbols of divine voice. But thank you for those who came before and shared their visions. I’m grateful for the sacred sister bee who let me bring her inside this morning to warm up. She allowed me the delight and heart bursting joy of drinking humming bird sugar from my finger. While the hummies came to see what we were doing and 2 Douglas squirrels growled, chittered and chased each other, I was just humbled by all that I was allowed to experience on my front stoop. My wish is that everyone, for just a moment each day, stop to remember and FELL how loved, sacred and f^cking beautiful they are.
